James is an Executive Director at River Capital since 2011. He has extensive experience in corporate governance having joined multiple boards including the Chairman of the Australian Super investment committee, Deputy Chairman of ASX-Listed Lifestyle Communities and Australian Investment Co, as well as Chairman of Cell Care. James holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.

Joshua Ludski leads River Capital Strategic Investments. Current directorships include The Cheesecake Shop and Cannatrek. Prior to joining River Capital, Joshua was a consultant at Bain & Company, a global management consultancy with a focus on Retail and Private Equity. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University.

Michael Nossal is the Non-Executive Chair of IGO Ltd since 2021. He is a senior mining executive with 35+ years experience in business development, strategy and operations. He was previously the Chief Development Office at Newcrest Mining and Executive General Manager Business Development at MMG Ltd, where he led significant growth initiatives. He has held other executive management and board positions at companies including WMC Recources, Lundin Gold, Nordgold, En+Group, UC Rusal, Normandy Mining, and others. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Tim Poole is a member of River Capital's Investment Committee. He is the Chairman of Aurizon Holdings Limited, Australia's largest freight operator. Previously, Tim was the Chairman of Reece Ltd, McMillan Shakespeare Limited and Lifestyle Communities Limited. He was formerly the Managing Director of Hastings Funds Management Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

Tony has broad experience in private investment, M&A, and agribusiness. He was Managing Director of Ruyi Australia Group, part of Shandong Ruyi Technology, a Chinese multinational group, from 2016 to 2022. During that time, he was responsible for the operations of Cubbie Station, Australia’s largest cotton farm, and Lempriere Wool, an international wool processing and trading business. Prior to 2016, Tony was CEO of Lempriere Capital, a private investment group specialising in agribusiness, and Executive Director of agri funds manager AgCAP. Tony was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 24 January 2022.
